Top 10 Must-Have Vegan Products

Jun 15, 2022

I have done the searching and taste-testing for you! These products are all approved by our household and I guarantee that you will love them!

1. Just Egg

The absolute BEST vegan egg substitute we have found! It's perfect for baking and eating! I'll polish off a whole bottle as scrambled eggs. And guess what? A whole bottle has 40 grams of protein! Simply pour the bottle in a frying pan, sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley, and nutritional yeast, and you have a DELICIOUS and easy breakfast!

2. Nutritional Yeast

Speaking of nutritional yeast, this is definitely a must-have! Loaded with vitamins, protein, minerals, and antioxidants, this is a product you want in your kitchen at all times. I sprinkle it in anything I can! From pasta sauce, to mashed potatoes, to sandwiches, I always have some handy. Mark this as a product I never heard of until I became vegan!

3. Plant Milk

The options are endless! Oat milk, almond milk, cashew milk, rice milk, hemp milk, oh my! Our personal favorite is oat milk, specifically Silk's creamy full fat oat milk. It's so delicious for dipping cookies, baking, cereal, or to drink. Oat milk also uses the least amount of water to produce. Highly recommended!

4. Creamer

If you're a coffee or tea drinker like us, you'll need to get yourself some vegan creamer! There are so many delicious options; sweetened, flavored, or plain. We love Silk's many options of creamers as well as Planet Oat's creamers. SOOOO yummy!

5. Butter

Who doesn't need butter in their life? From toast to pancakes, to baking, we all need some delicious butter in our refrigerators. We usually stick with Earth Balance; they have several options! All approved by us.

6. Agave

Wondering what to use in place of honey? Agave is the answer! It's so sweet and scrumptious. Vegans avoid honey because a lot of bees get crushed accidentally in the honey-making process amongst other reasons. Plus it's technically bee vomit...so it's really not appetizing to us anyway!

7. Lightlife Crumbles

Talk about an amazing ground beef substitute! We always have Lightlife Crumbles on hand. We use them for tacos, burritos, biscuits and gravy, pasta "meat" sauce, and more. Whatever recipe calls for ground beef, use this product instead! It's so wonderful not cooking with blood and fat. I truly enjoy cooking more now that I don't cook with dead animals!

8. Impossible Meat

This vegan meat is also husband-approved! I make a delicious meatloaf with two packs of Impossible Meat and he loves it! This is another product that substitutes ground beef or sausage. I like to switch between different vegan meats to change it up and also try to have this type of processed food be more of a treat. It's best to focus on whole-foods as much as possible!

9. Beyond Meat

These are the best sausages we've found so far. Especially their spicy ones! I fry them in a pan and cut them up for my garlic pasta with veggies dish. SO GOOD! They're also great eating in a bun with sauteed peppers and onions. What a time to be alive!

10. Planet Oat Ice Cream

Let's finish off our list with one of our favorite desserts. Planet Oat Ice Cream is seriously the most delicious ice cream we've ever had! From their chocolate peanut butter swirl to their blueberry oat crumble and more, it is to die for!!

Don't forget to always have a steady supply of different fruits, vegetables, rice, pasta and potatoes. (Brown rice and whole grain pasta is the healthiest of course!) As long as I have these products and the products listed above on hand, I'm able to whip up meals in 20 minutes or less!

Although veganism can seem like a weird and impossible idea, it turns out that we are actually not meant to eat animal products, especially every day, multiple times a day. This is one reason why our country is unbelievably unhealthy and on pills to survive. People take pills so that they can keep eating the wrong food; fueling the pharmaceutical industry, disgusting slaughterhouses where workers have PTSD and mental issues from murdering animals all day long.
Why Vegans Don't Eat Fish
21 Jan, 2022
If I had a dime for every time someone asked if I still eat fish even though I'm vegan, I'd be rich! No, I don't eat slimy things with a face. I don't eat anything with a face. Fish feel pain and fear. Imagine being ripped from your home by a giant and then you slowly suffocate to death. How terrifying! I'll stick with my plant-based fish.
